Behind Britt Harris
Welcome to my little space on the internet dedicated to self-love, self-discovery, and inspiration. If you’re looking to gain community with women who are in the same walk with you, confidence to live your most fulfilled life, then you’re in the right place! My mission is to serve as a source of inspiration, education, community, and help for women who want to feel more confident, have a healthy mindset, recognize the beauty within them and truly flourish as the most beautiful version of themselves. The world tells us we’re not good enough and social media makes us feel like we have to seek the approval of everyone except ourselves. Our true beauty lies within us and all we have to do is believe that it’s there, and by learning to change our negative self-talk and embrace all our uniqueness, we can rediscover that fire inside we thought we’d lost.

Hi! I’m Brittany, of course, the creator behind this lovely space on the internet. I’m also a wife, mama of 4, entrepreneur, mentor, tattoo enthusiast, and wine connoisseur.
Back in 2017, three years after I’d given birth to my now 4-year-old, I found myself sitting in the bathroom crying. I was overweight, overwhelmed, and hyperventilating. I worked from home, I did school events, I handled the home, I was trying to launch a business, I was trying to be all the places and do all the things. I began to have these blinding headaches, then I had blurry vision and I finally realized I was pushing myself beyond my limits with no rest. I was striving for perfection and that all elusive — balance. I had a good cry in that bathroom that day. I wasn’t taking care of me. I was so focused on taking care of everyone and everything around me that I became my last priority.
That’s when it clicked for me. I had to make a change and rediscover me. I couldn’t take care of them if I wasn’t fully taking care of me. I knew I wasn’t the only mama that felt this way. I wanted to help those women come back to themselves. It saddens me to see so many beautiful women neglecting themselves, comparing themselves to other women and losing themselves to the demands of everyday life.
I started this blog to help women rediscover the beauty that lies within them so that they can live a more fulfilled, purposeful life.
